Matt Scott and Lara Prince continued their dominance in Ski Orienteering winning the Snogaine at Snow Farm, Cardrona yesterday.
About 30 orienteers and cross country skiers turned out for the event in pristine weather conditions, although heavy snow falls recorded in the week building up to the event resulted in deep powder off the groomed trails.
The event was held in rogaine format this year with teams of two to five people given three hours to visit as many of the 50 control points as possible. The winning duo managed to visit all but four controls.
Many thanks to the organisers John Paul Lilburne and Brian Buschl for a great day of orienteering on the snow.
