Tania Larsen and Elizabeth Ingham have raced superbly to finish 14th and 22nd respectively at the World Games Orienteering Sprint Race in Kaohsiung, Chiese Taipei.
On a flat and fast course around the Museum of Fine Arts parkland, New Zealand Sprint champion Lizzie Ingham had a fast start but was reeled in by some of the top Europeans in the second half.
Tania Larsen started slower but accelerated away from the chasing bunch over the second half to claim another top twenty finish at the top level.
Former World Champion Minna Kaupi of Finland won by 23 seconds from two-time World champion Hanny Allston of Australia.
Larsen's prefers the Middle distance (at which she is current National Champion - one of her 21 National titles) and she races over this distance at the World Games on July 18 at Chengcing Lake, Kaohsiung.
