When I arrived at Corsair Bay yesterday afternoon I thought we were going to be in for another week like last week.
There was a steady drizzle falling and I could barely see Quail Island accross the harbour. However a couple of hours later and the sun was shining and people were starting to filter down the path to a calm and sunny Corsair Bay. We ended up having a stunning evening with 155 people on the start line for race two of this summers Surf n Turf Series.
Thanks to everyone who came along last night we were so pleased to see so many of you turning up only 10 days out for Christmas! Please help us to grow the series this summer! If you have a friend or workmate who you think might be interested in giving the series a go please let them know and encourage them to come along to some of the races in the new year! Remember the person who refers the most new competitors this summer will win a free season entry into next summers Surf n Turf Series!
Got The Wrong Wetsuit?
Someone has accidently taken home the wrong wetsuit from transition after last nights race. If you swim in an Orca Apex please check to make sure that you have the correct wetsuit. We have somone who is missing their new Orca Apex Medium Tall and in it's place that person has left them with their wetsuit which is the same but a small. We need this wetsuit back before this weekend so it can be used in the House of Travel Triathlon Festival on Sunday. Please check your wetsuit to make sure you have the correct one.
Of course if you don't have a wetsuit at all but are thinking about getting one, pop into The Frontrunner (city branch) and take a look at their range of 2XU wetsuits!
